Today, our family experienced an unexpected and heartbreaking loss. Our Brother Eric passed away suddenly, leaving behind a space that can never truly be filled. Eric was the kind of person you couldn’t ignore, in the best way possible. He was vivacious, charismatic, and full of life. Whether he was making people laugh, joking at your expense in a way that somehow still made you smile, or striking up conversations with complete strangers, he had a way of bringing energy and warmth wherever he went. He made people feel seen, welcomed, and appreciated. He was always down for a trip to the beach or the lake, anywhere he could relax, laugh, and enjoy life with the people around him. He loved playing soccer and was a proud University of Texas Longhorns fan, always showing his support and spirit. He loved deeply, especially when it came to his nieces and nephews, who meant the world to him. He created countless memories with everyone lucky enough to know him, turning even the simplest moments into something special.
