It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Erich Schmidt, who left us on the morning of June 12th.

Erich was a treasured member of our Spectra Premium team and a highly respected presence in the automotive aftermarket community. Having been part of our community since 2013, he most recently served as Senior Director of Sales at Spectra Premium, where he demonstrated steadfast dedication, kindness, and a contagious sense of joy every day. More than just a colleague, Erich was a true friend to many—always quick to uplift those around him with a kind word or thoughtful encouragement.

We know this news comes as a shock and is difficult for everyone who knew and loved him. Please remember to lean on each other for support during this time and reflect on the memories as we honor the life and legacy Erich built within our community.

Now, as the automotive aftermarket community or a friend of Erich's, we are coming together to raise funds in support of Erich’s family and children, whom he treasured so dearly.
