Memorial Fund For Eric Benson’s Family

Eric Benson was first and foremost a family man. His love for his children and wife could be seen in the smiles they all shared in each photo.  They experienced much together as a family:  time  in a cabin in Maine, dog sledding, pumpkin picking, skiing, hiking, and camping

Dr. Eric R Benson was professor in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences at the University of Delaware. Eric was an agricultural engineer by training and his key areas of research include emergency animal management, foam depopulation, animal lighting, and disinfection.  He published a number of papers  

Eric passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2020. at 45 years of age.   He was the sole provider for his wife and three children.  While the timing of the loss of a spouse is never good, this is particularly troubling for the family.  The Covid  stay home orders make it difficult for people to reach out and help. Further, the financial future for Eric’s  family is questionable at this time
