Last Friday, my dear nephew Enrique Ramos Jr. passed away. Ricky was the only son of my brother, Enrique Ramos. His struggle started at a very early age when he lost his mom as a child. He proudly became a Sergeant of the US Marine Corps and retired at an early age partly because of his condition. Very few of his friends and family knew about it. He was suffering from many psychological and physical problems, and he was misdiagnosed multiple times. Tired of taking the wrong medications, he finally found out that his condition was a rare autoimmune disorder called Anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis. In hopes of getting the right treatment, he tried everything to get better.

He was a very nice young man and lit everyone around him with his smile. Please remember him as he was in life. Your prayers and donations are appreciated; please help us raise money to prepare a decent funeral for this US Marine Corps Veteran.
