Honoring Emily’s Brave Battle with Cancer

As many of you know, Emily Long began experiencing abdominal pain and vomiting on August 17, 2024, which led her to the ER. After testing was completed, Emily was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has also spread to her liver and lymph nodes.

Today, May 21st, Emily has made the difficult decision to begin her hospice journey. She is tired and is in a lot of pain. It's time to let her rest and spend the time she has left with her loved ones.

After lots of talking with Emily's husband Dustin, we have decided to create a new GoFundMe. Unfortunately, Emily does not have life insurance. They had plans to get it, but her sickness came before they had the chance. No one can prepare themselves for being diagnosed with terminal cancer at 35 years old.

I am setting this new account for Dustin to make sure that Emily is well taken care of. I don't want either one of them to stress about the costs of a funeral.

Emily is an incredible mom, wife, employee, and friend. She is always giving back to her community and is constantly lending a helping hand to anyone that needs it. She and her husband Dusty are always helping others. It's now our turn to help them.
