Dear friends & family,

We’ve created this GoFundMe account to raise the finances to cover the funeral costs of my mother Elvia. Anything is greatly appreciated.

On August 17th, our beloved mother passed away from cancer. She put up a fight through chemo, radiation, & surgeries with a smile on her face. Despite the pain she was going through, she remained the same incredible woman who always managed to worry about others before herself. She was the most kind, giving, caring, & loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, & friend. Her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ gave her the strength & peace to keep going regardless of the medical reports. Once she felt that her mission in life was completed, she made one last prayer request. “To be in God’s glory”. Hours later, she was at rest. It was truly an honor to have her as a mother. We will miss her immensely!

Hemos creado esta cuenta de GoFundMe para recaudar fondos para cubrir los gastos del funeral de mi madre Elvia. Cualquier cosa es muy apreciada.

El 17 de agosto, nuestra querida madre falleció de cáncer. Luchó contra la quimioterapia, la radiación y las cirugías con una sonrisa en su rostro. A pesar del dolor por el que estaba pasando, seguía siendo la misma mujer increíble que siempre se las arreglaba para preocuparse por los demás antes que por sí misma. Era la esposa, madre, abuela, hija, hermana, tía y amiga más amable, generosa, cariñosa y amorosa. Su fe en nuestro Señor Jesucristo le dio la fuerza y la paz para seguir adelante a pesar de los informes médicos. Una vez que sintió que su misión en la vida había sido completada, hizo una última petición de oración. "Estar en la gloria de Dios". Horas más tarde, estaba en reposo. Fue un verdadero honor tenerla como madre. ¡La echaremos muchísimo de menos!
