Hello everyone, my name is Emily. My mom, Elodia Garibay, fought her strongest battle against heart failure and kidney failure for the last couple of years. On the night of November 9th, she left us unexpectedly. She was a loving person, mom, and wife who always put her family first. Even on her hardest days, she faced every dialysis treatment with courage, never letting herself give up. Her strength and resilience are qualities I will always remember and cherish.

Elodia was incredibly crafty and loved to DIY anything and everything. After long days at dialysis, she found joy in spending hours with my sister making decorations for our home. These moments brought her happiness and filled our house with warmth and creativity. Her passion for making things beautiful was just one of the many ways she showed her love for us.

We are raising funds to give my mom the funeral service and memorial she truly deserves. Our hope is to let her rest peacefully by the middle or end of this month.
