Honoring Elliot David Rivera: Funeral Assistance

Hi, my name is Debbie Earhart a wife, and mother I'm devastated on the loss of my husband Elliot David Rivera born on 08/10/1971, 5 days after his birthday 08/15/2024 Elliot ended up being rushed into the hospital due to a brain bleed which led him to having a stroke. With each passing day it has been a roller coaster of emotions in hopes of his recovery. Last week we got the call saying my husband had another stroke and left him with only 5% of brain function, which day by day continued to worsen. Elliot was a loving husband, brother, son and father. He was a dedicated Mets Fan and friend who always bought laughter to everyone. A dedicated family man who always made sure his loved ones and everyone around him always came first. Elliot enjoyed spending time with his family playing COD with the kids and podcasting with his Mets crew, He was known for his vibrant spirit and unwavering kindness. Elliots laughter filled every room, and his ability to uplift others from a sad mood was a gift to all who knew him. Sadly, Elliot right now is on life support with the machine left in keeping him alive, following a sudden and severe medical brain emergency. In this difficult time with Elliot in these conditions our family is faced with the profound emotional challenge of making decisions for my husband's care. It's a very emotional time and I'm pleased to know my husband will be given the opportunity to save someone else life by being a donor. We are deeply saddened to announce that on September 1st will be the day we are able to say our final goodbyes and release him from suffering. As we navigate this difficult time, we are asking for donations to help cover any funeral costs.
