On Monday evening, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when Ellie passed away unexpectedly. She was a deeply loved partner, daughter, family member, beloved aunt, and friend whose kindness and presence touched so many people.

For the past three years, she and my brother built a life together filled with love, memories, and plans for the future. They loved going to concerts, watching horror movies, spending time with their dogs, and creating a life full of laughter and companionship together. In the wake of this tragedy, he is now facing not only overwhelming grief, but also the emotional and financial challenges that come with suddenly navigating life on a single income and managing unexpected expenses.
