Honoring Elizabeth Woods: Help Us Fulfill Her Final Wish

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Elizabeth Taylor Woods on March 7, 2025. She left this world peacefully, surrounded by her husband, sons, brothers, sisters, and immediate family in the comfort of her home. Elizabeth was a light in so many lives—she loved unconditionally, welcomed everyone as if they were her own, and embodied kindness, warmth, and strength.

To know her was to be loved by her. She had a way of making everyone feel special, always putting others before herself and offering a listening ear, a comforting hug, or simply a reassuring smile. She truly was God’s precious angel on Earth, and now she has been called home.

Elizabeth’s final wish was to be laid to rest in Oakland, California, where she was born. As our family navigates this heartbreaking loss, we are also facing the financial challenge of honoring her wish, including funeral expenses and transporting her from North Carolina to California.

We are asking for support from family, friends, and those who knew and loved Elizabeth to help us give her the farewell she deserves.
