Elizabeth Marie Angle was a vibrant 16-year-old sophomore at Wakeland High School—the beloved daughter of Brian and Megan Angle, and a cherished sister to Caroline and Maggie. She loved life deeply: playing soccer, spending time with family and friends, and working with children. Elizabeth’s energy, warmth, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

On Sunday, Elizabeth’s life was tragically cut short in a sledding accident. In the midst of unimaginable grief, her family is committed to honoring her in a way that reflects who she was and what she cared about.

The Angle family is establishing The Elizabeth Angle Foundation in Elizabeth’s name, with the goal of providing scholarships to help children in need pursue their passions—whether in sports, the arts, academics, or community service. The foundation will be managed by her parents and sisters, who will ensure that funds are awarded directly to children or to nonprofit organizations that create meaningful opportunities for young people.

Elizabeth was often described as a bright light and magnetic soul.
