In Loving Memory of Elizabeth Reissig.

On June 6th, our beloved mother Elizabeth Reissig took her last breath. Her passing was very unexpected and devastating. To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. Elizabeth leaves behind her two daughters Michelle and Suzanne, four grandkids and a 1-year-old Great Granddaughter. Elizabeth had a contagious laugh that will always be remembered. Her warm smile and soft eyes made her even more genuine. She had a passion for theatre, classical music, art and her family. Her willingness to help others was never unnoticed.

Elizabeth fought hard during her last remaining weeks with us, but due to Valley Fever causing respiratory failure and then liver failure, her body was just too weak to fight it. We never left her side during this fight. During this time, my sister and I found out that our mother was being internet scammed, by someone who pretended to be a friend and promised many broken promises including a never-ending love. Our mother gave away everything, literally everything. She put herself into debt to help another person. Instead of grieving our mothers passing we have had to save everything from her house that was in foreclosure to all her bills that were months behind. My sister and I are in danger of going into debt ourselves in order to settle everything for our mother which includes funeral cost, mortgage, car, medical bills and everything else she had.

My heart hurts for my mom as she was looking for a friend and instead was taken advantage of financially and emotionally. She had more time here, and I'm saddened she was taken from us so soon and that we couldn't help her.

We are starting this Go Fund Me, to help relieve some stress off our shoulders. We have already had to come up with thousands and we are drowning and scared. This will help with the remaining funeral cost, and all the expenses left behind that WE are now responsible for mortage,probate, medical, electric etc. Anything would help, any donation even $1.

Mom Mommy, Mamma, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandma, Friend, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and so much more. You are gone but will never be forgotten. We Love you so much!
