Elijah Close was only 22 years old when he passed away after a courageous battle with a non-cancerous brain tumor. Although he underwent surgery and showed signs of recovery, his condition took a sudden and heartbreaking turn. The doctors and nurses at Antelope Valley Hospital did everything they could, but they were unable to determine the exact cause of his decline. Elijah's heart stopped twice, which led to swelling in his brain, fluid in his lungs, and ultimately, kidney and liver failure. Through it all, Elijah fought bravely, showing the strength and determination that defined his life.

Our family is devastated by this loss. Elijah was a loving son and brother, a hard worker, and an ambitious young man who believed deeply in doing what was right. He loved construction, enjoyed nice things, and cherished good times with family and friends. We want to give him a proper funeral service so he can be remembered and loved forever, but we were not prepared for this tragedy. The funds raised will help us cover funeral expenses and honor Elijah's memory in a way that reflects the love and light he brought into our lives.
