My cousin Jesse and his 5-year-old daughter have experienced an unimaginable loss. Our beloved Elianna passed away suddenly after a fast-moving illness, leaving behind a grieving husband, siblings, parents, friends, and a little girl who has lost her mother far too soon.
Elianna was the most extraordinary person—kind, open-hearted, and deeply devoted to the people she loved. She built her life around caring for others, creating (& feeding) community, and showing up for friends and family with warmth and generosity. She was an incredible mother, and her love for her daughter was boundless. She was the funniest, the silliest, the best hugger, the best listener.
Now, Jesse and the Roffman family are navigating this profound loss. In the coming weeks, Jesse and his daughter will need to relocate from Spain back to California to be closer to family support. This means starting over and rebuilding their lives while grieving.
We are raising funds to help ease this transition and help our family with this devastating loss. Contributions will go toward relocation expenses, housing, childcare, and basic living costs during this incredibly difficult time.
If you’re able to give, thank you. If not, sharing this page means just as much. Let’s come together to support them as they navigate life without the woman who meant everything to them.
Our hearts are forever broken. We just can't believe you're gone. We will miss you and love you forever, Eli.
