Honoring Eli - donation for park bench & annual scholarship

We are heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend, Eli Goodman. Eli was deeply loved by his family, friends, colleagues, and patients. He had a rare gift for making everyone feel truly seen, heard, and cared for. The kindness, compassion, and light he extended to everyone he met knew no bounds.

In honor of Eli’s memory, we are raising funds to dedicate a park bench and plaque in a place he cherished. This will be a space for friends, family, and anyone passing by to sit, reflect, and feel the quiet presence of someone who made the world a gentler place.

Eli had a deep admiration for the beauty of life and nature - a tree in bloom, a peaceful trail, a glowing sunset. Our hope is that this bench becomes a lasting tribute to Eli.

Thank you for helping us keep his memory alive in a place where it can continue to inspire peace, reflection, and connection in a way that he would have wanted.

UPDATE 6/27: We are raising additional funds to provide an annual scholarship for a student at Brookline High School who has demonstrated a deep appreciation for the dignity of every person he or she has encountered and has shown a propensity for establishing lasting friendships with people from all walks of life.

We are holding everyone who loved him in our hearts during this unimaginable time.
