Elena was my brother Stephen’s widow, and she was a compassionate, thoughtful, and supportive person who cherished her family deeply. Her furbabies were always by her side, and she made sure everyone around her felt cared for and included. On December 10th, 2025, Elena passed away with her mother Lana by her side, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her. We want to honor her memory by placing her to rest near her husband, Stephen Earl Karn, in a Sacramento cemetery, so she can be close to the one she loved most.

The expenses for the memorial service, the cost of internment, and travel arrangements for Andrew, her stepson, to attend the service have created a financial challenge for our family. We want to ensure that Elena receives the farewell she deserves and that her family can come together to say their goodbyes.
