Elena was a proud retired NYPD Police Officer, a devoted wife to Brian, and a deeply loving mother to her two children, Sierra and Damien, who were truly the center of her world. Elena was the heart of her family — strong, disciplined, and fiercely loyal to those she loved. While she carried the toughness of her years in law enforcement, those closest to her knew the incredibly generous and tender soul behind it. She always showed up for her family and friends and loved harder than anyone when it came to the people in her life. She cherished time with her children, relaxing by the pool on summer nights, the beach, her beloved dogs, and the Christmas traditions that meant so much to her family. Elena also found purpose in her work with the Roslyn schools, where she cared deeply for her students and was loved by many.
