We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved friend and Minister, Elder Deborah Johnson, who touched so many lives with her loving, caring, and giving nature. As a preacher, she brought comfort and joy to our community, always ready with a kind word and a helping hand. Her sense of humor and love for crafting brought smiles to everyone around her, and she cherished spending time with friends and family.

In addition to her ministry, Elder Deborah Johnson was a proud Veteran, honorably discharged, who continued to serve others even after suffering a stroke a couple of years ago. This setback slowed her down but never stopped her. She continued to mentor and help others, always willing to give whatever she had, even if it was her last.

In this difficult time, we are raising funds to cover the funeral home charges and to help bring her daughter and grandchildren from North Carolina to New York, so they can say their final goodbyes. This gathering is essential for the family to find closure and celebrate the life of someone who meant so much to us all.
