Please consider donating to help the Dodge/Spinks family as they lost one of their strongest foundations, Elaine Dodge. Elaine, also lovingly known by her family as Gigi, passed away on the morning of 3/28. On top of being a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, her and her husband were both huge pillars of their community— volunteering for both the Oxford Fire Department and supporting the Emergency Squad.
Her husband of 54 years, Henry Dodge, served on the fire department for 40+ years but unfortunately, passed away from cancer in 2020. Elaine was along side him as a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxillary—assisting the fire department with all of their needs, including fundraising, volunteering, and supporting the local community.
Somewhere in between their time spent volunteering, they also managed to pour all of their love into their children and grandchildren, giving them the best lives they possibly could. Elaine and Henry were always described as the kind of people who would “give you the shirt off their back” if anyone needed help. And no one will ever replace the kindness, generosity and humor that they were always quick to provide to those around them.
Unfortunately, their family’s bereavement has been interrupted by the weight of medical bills and funerals costs. During this time, the Dodge/Spinks family could use love and support as they do not have the means to afford the aftermath of such a big loss for the family. Please send your condolences and, if you can, support a family in need.
We appreciate any contributions toward a celebration of the life of such a strong, sweet, and loving woman who poured into everyone around her and always had a smile doing it.
Thank you ❤️
Please note: for those interested in attending the service, details will be provided soon.
