My name is Nick Medrano and I am raising funds for my cousin who passed away on 2/23/2026. He passed away under unknown conditions in custody of the Orange County Jail , Theo Lacy Facility. Me and Edson Rosas Medrano were the same age and grew up together for a large portion of our childhood and grew into adolescence together. We grew up in the same environment, raised here in the City of Santa Ana. He leaves behind a large family which loved and cared for him deeply. His mother, Marisol Medrano, was notified via U.S. Marshals on 2/23/2026. We are trying to get some clarification on what occurred and why so we can give his mother Marisol closure and console her during these hard times. Anything helps, thank you!
