I lost my sweet boy Eddie Dec 22 and my sweet Lupe passed last night Jan 21. I am a mess and am struggling to pay the vet bills coming up for several reasons but mostly due to having to take a bit of time off to mourn. I had Lupe with me for 18 years and Eddie for 15 years. They were my silent and stoic and sweet support system through all the things life brought in the last two decades of my life. I have no benefits with my line of work. If I don’t work I don’t get paid. I’m a person who guards and protects my private life but I am also very heartbroken and could use a little extra support. My scaffolding is fragile and community helps rebuild. Love one another and love your pets who are family if you are lucky enough to have one in your life. Mine saved my life over and over.
