Honoring Eddie: A Future for Ava

I regret to inform you that one of my best childhood friends has recently passed away. I am starting a GoFund Me to honor the life of Vladimir Edric Edouard (Eddie). 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a 529 Plan for his daughter, Ava. Please join me in celebrating the life of Eddie, and consider making a financial contribution to ensure his daughter has adequate financial means to pursue higher education.

Eddie was a great friend. His smile was infectious. He was fiercely loyal, and always extended his home as “base of operations” for an army of friends. Some of my best childhood memories were made in his basement, and I am forever grateful that Eddie provided a safe haven for people like me to escape life, relax, tell a few jokes, and bond amongst friends.

He taught me many things. The most valuable lesson Eddie taught me was that you can’t take care of someone else if you don’t take care of yourself. Eddie pursued a career in nursing and continued to guide me later in life, enabling me to be the best father possible for my daughter. Eddie positioned me for success. For that reason, I thought it was appropriate to return the favor. Please join me in supporting Ava’s future. Thank you very much for your consideration.
