Honoring Edbert Pacheco’s Legacy
Donation protected
Edbert Pacheco was a man of quiet strength and steady hands. He found peace in simple but meaningful routines like tending to his garden, working on his cars, caring for the home he loved, and being around to be the family fixer. Born in the Philippines, he made the journey in his youth to the United States, and made the greater Seattle area his home . As a PNW native, he took full advantages of the beautiful area, and lived a very full life. Edbert appreciated the beauty around him, shown by his affinity for camping, paddle boarding, fishing, and much more. He took great pride in doing things well, especially reflected in his faithful work at Boeing for decades, in which he never received a negative mark. He was known for his physical dependability and strong work ethic.
His faith in Christ was a steady part of his life. He could often be found praying with his family, whether at church or at home and was known for often expressing his gratitude for the many blessings the Lord afforded him in his life. He loved nothing more than his family and the Lord.
Edbert spent over 30 years married to Mirasol, building a life shaped by shared moments and quiet commitment. He was a consistent presence for his children, Micha, Ariel, Melody, Luke, and Tuscany, and took pride in seeing each of them grow and choose their own paths. He also cherished his two bonus children, Heather and Jayden, who became part of the family along the way.
He was a proud Lolo to four grandchildren here on earth and now joins two more who went before him in heaven. He was a constant for his brothers who also shared in the iconic "ed" nickname, and he was a loyal son to his late father and his living mother.
His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he left a legacy of beauty, steadfastness, and quiet strength for those he loved most. Edbert did not let the struggles of life quiet his faith in God, and he persevered through many ups and downs in his life. His life is a testimony of endurance, the grace of God, and what it looks like to keep showing up to provide for his family.
Edbert’s passing was sudden and completely unexpected, leaving his family in shock and deep grief. His wife, children, and grandchildren are heartbroken, having imagined many more years together. The family is now facing the difficult task of honoring Edbert’s memory and commitment by giving him the funeral he deserves. Funds raised will go directly toward the cost of the funeral service, casket, burial ceremony, and ensuring Edbert can be laid to rest in a beautiful location near his family. Any support will help ease the burden during this painful time and allow the family to celebrate Edbert’s life and legacy with the dignity he deserves.
