Hello. I am Franki Dylan’s Aunt/Mom.
Help Us Honor the Life & Legacy of Dylan Sebock #97 ️
Our hearts are completely shattered as we share the devastating loss of our son, Dylan Sebock, who was tragically taken from us at just 23 years old because of a drunk driver.
Dylan was a senior college football player at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he proudly wore #97 and played Defensive End. This was supposed to be his senior year—a year our family had looked forward to for so long.
We were supposed to be watching #97 take the field.
We were supposed to celebrate Senior Day.
We were supposed to watch him walk across the stage at graduation.
We were supposed to be talking about what Dylan was going to do next.
Instead, we are trying to understand how we are supposed to say goodbye to our 23-year-old son.
Anyone who knew Dylan knows that football was only one part of who he was. Dylan was goofy. He could make you laugh when you didn’t want to laugh. He loved joking around, being silly, and bringing his personality into a room. Behind that big defensive end was someone’s baby boy, a family member, a teammate, a friend, and a young man who had his entire life ahead of him.
On the football field, Dylan was #97. He worked, sacrificed, practiced, competed, and formed bonds with teammates and coaches that became much bigger than the game itself. We were so proud of the young man and athlete he had become.
But to us, he was simply Dylan.
Our Son/Nephew
And there is a hole in our family that can never be filled.
No parent should ever have to bury their child. No family should have to receive the news that someone they love isn’t coming home because another person made the decision to drink and drive.
Dylan should still be here.
He should be laughing.
He should be making somebody shake their head at something goofy he just did.
He should be putting on that #97 jersey.
He should be finishing his senior year.
He should be graduating.
He should be living his life.
Our family has created this GoFundMe to help with Dylan’s funeral and memorial expenses and the unexpected costs our family is facing during this unimaginable tragedy. Any additional support will help us find meaningful ways to honor Dylan and keep his memory and legacy alive.
If you are able to donate, we are incredibly grateful. No amount is too small. If you cannot donate, please share Dylan’s story and keep our family, his teammates, coaches, friends, and everyone who loved him in your prayers.
And please, in Dylan’s memory, never drink and drive. Get a ride. Call someone. Hand over your keys. One decision can take away an entire lifetime and leave a family forever changed.
Dylan was only 23.
He had so much more football to play, so many more laughs to give us, so many milestones to reach, and an entire future waiting for him.
We will make sure Dylan Sebock’s name is never forgotten.
#97 forever.
Forever a Savage.
Forever our son.
Forever loved.
Never forgotten. ️
Thank you for loving our Dylan and for helping our family honor the life and legacy of Dylan Sebock #97.
