Help Honor the Life of Dwayne Clive Lyons

Hi everyone,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved friend, Dwayne Clive Lyons, who passed away on February 11th in the early morning.

Dwayne was admitted to the hospital for a week while receiving treatment for a severe sickle cell crisis. During his treatment, his condition unexpectedly worsened, and his heart gave out. Doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to save him, performing CPR and attempting resuscitation for nearly an hour, but despite their efforts, Dwayne was sadly unresponsive.

This loss has been heartbreaking and unexpected for everyone who knew and loved him.

Dwayne was more than just a friend—he was someone who brought light, laughter, and strength to those around him. Even while battling sickle cell, he remained resilient and continued to show love and joy to others. He touched many lives, and his absence leaves a deep void. Dwayne was a devoted father who worked hard to provide for his children and support their future.

Dwayne leaves behind his twin daughters, who are currently in their first year of college.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as any remaining medical bills and costs associated with laying Dwayne to rest with the dignity and honor he deserves.
