Anyone who knew Duane understood that his daughters and grandchildren were his greatest joy. After a brief but courageous battle with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis, Duane passed away on December 30, 2025. We are deeply heartbroken, and his daughters now face uncharted paths. This fund is being established to assist with funeral expenses and any potential medical costs not covered by insurance. During his eight-week fight, Duane was in critical care, undergoing numerous procedures and extensive testing. His eldest daughter, Laura, traveled from Wyoming and stayed by his side, while her husband, Aaron, commuted back and forth. Laura is a self-employed chiropractor, and Aaron serves in the U.S. Air Force—both have experienced significant income disruption. Duane’s youngest daughter has also had to take leave from work. Any contribution you choose to make will directly support his daughters and cover the remaining expenses.
