Remembering Duane Hopkins
It is with heavy hearts that we honor the memory of Duane Hopkins, a dedicated leader, a brilliant mind in cybersecurity, and a cherished friend who was taken from us far too soon on March 16, 2026, at the age of 52.
Since 2019, Duane served as the backbone of our cybersecurity team. He didn't just manage systems; he protected people. His leadership was defined by a rare combination of technical mastery and genuine empathy. Whether he was navigating a complex security crisis or mentoring a junior analyst, Duane led with a steady hand and a calm confidence that made everyone around him feel capable and secure.
The Memorial Golf Outing & Fundraiser
To honor Duane’s legacy and his love for the game, we are organizing a Duane Hopkins Memorial Golf Outing.
This event will be hosted at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth, MI (8768 N Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170) on Friday, May 29th, 2026. We will be playing the Golden Fox. Check-in begins at 7am and the shotgun start will be at 9am.
While we gather to share stories and celebrate a life well-lived, our primary mission is to support the family he loved so dearly.
Duane’s greatest pride was his children. To ensure his dreams for their future remain within reach, all proceeds from this event and this GoFundMe will go directly toward his family and his children’s education funds.
