Droopy Roybal is 15 years old, and somehow still manages to be both an old soul and my little baby at the same time.
He’s the kind of dog who’s always been right there, whether I needed comfort, company, or just someone to sit next to me in silence. He has this calm, gentle presence… like he just gets it without needing words.
Over the years, he’s had his little quirks that make him unforgettable. The way he [insert habit — e.g., follows you from room to room, sleeps in a specific funny position, makes a certain sound, or gives a particular look]. It’s those small things that end up meaning everything.
Now that he’s getting older, I can see him slowing down. It’s that quiet shift that every pet owner dreads but knows is part of loving them this long.
I’m starting this fund ahead of time so that when the moment comes, I can focus entirely on giving Droopy peace, comfort, and love without worrying about the cost of veterinary care, end-of-life support, or burial arrangements.
I plan to lay Droopy to rest at the Los Angeles Pet Memorial Park in Calabasas, a peaceful place where he can be honored with the dignity he deserves.
Droopy has given me 15 years of unconditional love. I just want to give him the same kindness and care in return.
If you’re able to donate or even just share this, it truly means everything to me. And if you’ve ever loved a dog, you already understand how much this moment matters.
Thank you for helping me honor Droopy’s life and the love he’s given me.
— With love
