Honoring Dr. Tiana Hudson-Jerman’s Legacy

We are heartbroken by the sudden loss of Dr. Tiana Hudson-Jerman, who tragically passed away in a recent car accident. Tiana was a brilliant physician, a compassionate caregiver, and a deeply loved daughter, friend, and colleague. Her passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Tiana dedicated her life to the service of others through medicine. She was an anesthesiology resident whose passion for patient care and advocacy shaped the physician she was becoming. Tiana had a particular commitment to improving outcomes for mothers and families and planned to pursue a career in obstetric anesthesia with a focus on advancing Black maternal health. This summer, she was preparing to begin a fellowship at Emory University to continue that work and deepen her impact in the field.

Tiana was also a proud alumna of the University of Miami, where she was initiated into the Tau Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and Tau Beta Sigma Band Sorority. Through her sorority and throughout her life, she embodied the values of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. She remained deeply committed to uplifting others and supporting the next generation of leaders and professionals.

This fundraiser has two purposes. First, it will help support funeral and memorial expenses as her family and loved ones navigate this devastating loss. Second, we hope to honor Tiana’s legacy by establishing the Tiana Hudson-Jerman Legacy Fund, which will support aspiring students pursuing careers in medicine and the health professions.

Tiana’s life was marked by compassion, brilliance, and service to others. While her time with us was far too short, her impact will live on through the countless lives she touched and through the future medical trainees who will be supported in her name.

If you are able, please consider contributing or sharing this fundraiser as we come together to celebrate and carry forward the legacy of Dr. Tiana Hudson-Jerman.
