Honoring Dr. Kerry Keith Mix Legacy Fund

Kerry Keith Mix, 42 years old, passed away on October 16, 2021. Kerry is survived by his wife, Zina, and beloved three children, Zach, 13, Keegan, 3, and Zane, 2. Kerry dedicated his career to help others achieve a college education and better life. This GoFundMe is being created so this same dream can be realized for Kerry's children. Proceeds will assist Kerry's widow to provide the foundation and support for their children's college education.

 

Kerry proudly led by example to model his passionate message of awareness and understanding of the importance of student success as a graduate of Coastal Bend College and the University of Houston-Victoria. He ultimately earned his PhD in Educational Administration, at The University of Texas at Austin, Community College Leadership Program. Kerry worked tirelessly over 21 years to teach and lead in higher education. All that had the honor to know him, especially his graduate school cohort family, wish to honor his legacy by recognizing his hopes for his children's future.
