Honoring Dr. Boomer's Legacy

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our dear friend, Dr. Marvin Boomer Jr., whose impact in our lives was truly extraordinary. He was a source of light, always stepping up to help others, lead with kindness, and bring people together. His warmth, wisdom, and joyful spirit left a lasting impact on his family and friends as well as the countless students, colleagues, and community members in his orbit. Whether it was mentoring younger students, organizing community events, or simply being a loyal friend, Boomer gave so much of his heart to everyone around.

As we grieve this incredible loss, we are starting this GoFundMe to begin the process of continuing and honoring Dr. Boomer’s legacy. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a way to say thank you for all the love Boomer gave us — and to ensure that his memory continues to uplift others, just as he always did.
