Dorothy LaShon Baines was the heart and foundation of our family. She was a kind, selfless, and loving woman who always put others before herself, making sure everyone around her felt cared for and supported. Her warmth, generosity, and beautiful spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Our lives changed forever when Dorothy was tragically murdered in her Las Vegas home as a result of domestic violence, suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Like so many victims, she quietly carried burdens that those who loved her never fully knew about.
