On December 8, 2025, we lost my beloved aunt, Doreen Medina-Hayden. She had a gift for touching hearts and spent her life shaping young minds as a teacher. She often shared stories about her students and spoke with such pride about the impact they made on her life, just as much as she made on theirs.

To anyone who knew her, it was clear that Darren and Luke were her entire world. She was an incredibly proud mother to Luke and loved him fiercely, always wanting nothing more than his happiness and success.
