Donyelle Denise Jones was a wife, daughter, sister, friend, and a light to everyone who knew her. On December 2nd, after a decade-long battle with metastatic breast cancer, Donyelle’s journey on earth came to a close. But her spirit, her laughter, and her love continue to shine in all of us who were lucky enough to know her.
Donyelle had a rare gift: she could brighten a room without even trying. Even on the hardest days of her fight, she found ways to make someone laugh, to lift someone up, to remind us all that life still held beauty. There were days when I was the one breaking down, and she’d crack a joke or flash that unforgettable smile—the smile—and suddenly the heaviness would shift. She comforted others even when she was the one in pain. That was Donyelle’s superpower: she carried joy like it was her birthright, and she shared it with everyone she met. Whether it was the way she loved her family, encouraged friends, or refused to let cancer steal her spirit, she taught us all what real strength looks like. Not loud or forceful, but quiet, steady, and God-aligned.
We are raising funds to help cover Donyelle’s funeral and memorial service expenses, so we can lay her to rest with the dignity and love she deserves. Any donation—big or small—will help our family during this difficult time. Prayers, shares, and positive energy are just as appreciated. Thank you for supporting us and for helping us honor Donyelle’s memory. Your kindness means more than words can say.
