DONNE LOBENDAHN 1/5/89-8/7/25

Donne Lobendahn passed yesterday morning at about 7:15 am. He was 36 years old. He was a very loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, friend, and coach. He had a tremendously big heart to go along with his stature. Many of his players have exclaimed that he was so much more than a coach who helped them beyond the field and even helped change their lives for good. He was employed as a full-time Instructional Aide at Cypress HS. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree through Chico State University and was in the process of gaining full-time employment through juvenile probation. We, his family and extended family, including Nadine Lemus, his longtime love and girlfriend, and her (and Donne’s) family and many lifelong friends, are devastated and heartbroken. BUT GOD, we know, will get us through, and His promises bring us comfort, for we know Donne accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Donne has gone home to be with God in all His glory.
