I'm Nicole and it's really taking everything in me just to type this. Never in a million years did I think I would be creating this for my twin, my big brother.

Who was called home to be back with The Creator.

Darryl Woods Jr. (DJ) is what we call him, collapsed when his heart went into cardiac arrest while walking down the street late one evening. A bystander walked by and saw this and immediately ran to help him, performing chest compressions. After 3 rounds of 15-minute intervals of chest compressions, he came back. He then spent almost 3 weeks on life support with only an estimated 20% of his brain left. We were then left with the harsh decision of taking him off life support or prolonging his life living in a vegetative state. So it came to be that we return him to his creator.

DJ was a bright light that lit up any room.

He had undeniable talent in music no one could match. DJ left behind 3 siblings, 3 kids, and a busload of family and friends. We are reaching out to the community for help with whatever the community can. If you can't, then we totally understand. We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts... THE WOODS FAMILY!
