My name is Kyle Bayless and I am creating this fundraiser to support my sister-in-law, Caitlin Link, during a time of great loss.

On the evening of September 14th, 2024, Caitlin and her husband DJ were traveling home from a special family event when they were in a terrible car accident. Caitlin was taken to a local hospital for her injuries. DJ was life-flighted to UT Tyler Emergency Center for life-threatening injuries to his upper body and head.

Tragically, DJ passed away on Monday, September 16th, in the early hours of the morning due to the injuries sustained in the car accident.

DJ is an organ donor, and by donating his organs after he passed away, he has the potential to save 80 lives directly and thousands of lives indirectly. We are so grateful that even in the midst of tragedy, DJ will continue to have a positive impact on the world around him!

Our family continues to mourn the loss of an unbelievably great husband, uncle, co-worker & friend. His humor and active presence in our lives will be greatly missed!

To try and help ease the financial burden that accidents like these cause, we have created this fundraiser to support DJ’s wife, Caitlin, financially and to cover any potential medical costs that arise.
