My name is Danyel Thompson, and I am creating this GoFundMe to help our family lay my beloved sister, Dionne Thompson, to rest. Our hearts are shattered by Dionne’s sudden and unexpected passing. There was no time to prepare, no chance to say goodbye, and the shock of losing her so suddenly has left our family devastated. Dionne was more than a sister—she was a constant source of love, strength, and light in our lives, and her absence is felt in ways we are still struggling to understand.


In the midst of this overwhelming grief, we are now faced with the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. Having to make these arrangements while mourning such a sudden loss has been incredibly difficult for our family. All donations will go directly toward funeral and memorial services, including burial and related costs, so we can honor Dionne’s life with the dignity, love, and respect she deserves.
