Dear family and friends,

With heavy hearts, our family is reaching out to ask for your support in honoring the life of our cherished Dion. Tragically, Dion was taken from us far too soon. Leaving behind a void that can never be filled. He was a one of a kind husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, friend and pop pop whose warmth, laughter, and love touched everyone that knew him.

On May 5, 2025 Dion suffered a sudden seizure while on his job at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) which caused a severe brain injury. After a 2 week fight in ICU, Dion received his wings on May 19th 2025.

Dion was known as the baddest percussionist in the DMV, AKA “Rumplestilskin”. Many have been blessed with his gifted musical talent . He was also known as the jokester and the life of the party.

We are doing our best to lay him to rest with the dignity and peace he deserves, and to create a memorial that reflects the incredible soul he was. In this unimaginable time, any support you can offer would mean the world to us. Thank you for helping us to celebrate Dion’s life and legacy with love and respect. He will be missed more than words can express.
