My name is DaAsia, and I am a 19-year-old student at Norfolk State University.

On Saturday, January 24th, my life was forever changed when my father, Dijon Poole, was taken from us due to a tragic hit-and-run accident. He was only 39 years old and had just celebrated his birthday on January 13th. Losing my father so suddenly has left our family completely heartbroken and struggling to process this unimaginable loss.

My father was more than just a dad of 3—he was a son, a brother, and a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He had so much life left to live, and his absence has left a void that can never be filled.

We are humbly asking for support to help us give our father the proper memorial service he deserves, allowing us to lay him to rest with dignity and love. Any funds raised will also help cover legal expenses so we can continue pursuing justice and keep the investigation into his death moving forward.
