On May 6th, our beloved Diana took her life. Since then, our family has been completely shattered trying to process a loss that still does not feel real. It feels impossible to even put into words the pain of losing someone who meant so much to so many people. Every day has been heavy, and we are all trying to figure out how to continue on without her here with us.
Diana was a loving mother to her three children and cared so deeply for the people around her. Back in August, she lost her son, and that loss changed her forever. The pain she carried after losing him was unbearable for her. Even through everything she was going through, she still tried her hardest to be there for everyone else. She continued showing love, making people laugh, checking in on others, and putting people before herself even while she was struggling so deeply inside.
She leaves behind her two daughters, ages 10 and 16, who now have to grow up without their mom. Diana loved her girls more than anything in this world. They were her whole heart, and anyone who knew her knew how much she loved being their mother.
Diana had the kind of smile people will never forget. She had such beautiful big brown eyes and such a comforting presence about her. She was one of the most nurturing and caring people you could meet. She had a charm to her that made people feel important and cared for.
None of this feels real to our family. Losing Diana so suddenly has left all of us heartbroken and struggling to understand how someone so bright and happy is gone so soon. She fought so hard for so long while carrying so much pain, and although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing she is finally at peace and reunited with her son and other loved ones we have lost.
During this difficult time, we are asking for any donations to help support Diana’s daughters and help our family with funeral expenses. Any amount, share, or prayer truly means everything to us and is deeply appreciated as we try to get through this heartbreaking loss together.
