We are heartbroken to share that our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Diana Tellez, passed away on November 23, 2025, at Mission Viejo Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on November 11, 1974, Diana filled 51 beautiful years with love, laughter, and a quiet but mighty strength that held our family together.
Diana was the hard-working stitch that kept everything sewn in place. She gave endlessly of herself, whether it was showing up for family, helping a friend, or staying up late at night crafting something special for someone she loved. In these last months, she poured her heart into helping prepare for Jesse’s upcoming wedding, adding her creative touch to every little detail. That was Diana: thoughtful, generous, and always thinking of others before herself.
She fought so bravely through her illness and, as anyone who knew her would expect, she left us on her own terms. While our hearts are shattered, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. We are deeply grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Mission Viejo Hospital for the care, compassion, and dignity they gave her and our family in her final days.
Diana’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Rafael Tellez, her children Nisa, Jesse, and Ruby Tellez, and a large extended family of relatives, godchildren, and friends who became family over the years. To know Diana was to feel welcomed, cared for, and loved.
As we work to honor Diana’s memory with a funeral and celebration of life that reflects the warmth and love she gave so freely, we are asking for support with the unexpected costs of her services. Any contribution, no matter the size; will go directly toward giving Diana the beautiful farewell she deserves and easing the financial burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, your prayers, and your support in remembering our beautiful Diana. ️
Memorial service will be held at O’Connors Mortuary in Laguna Hills December 2nd 2025 at 11am. (Schedule time may vary an hour or two while we finalize details soon.)
