On November 18th, 2025, at 6:35 pm, my mommy passed to heaven.
My mom is now resting, no longer in any pain; my mom is free.
As her only daughter, she taught me how to be strong for her. She prepared me.
We knew the worst could come, but everything came so fast.
Her health condition worsened and worsened each day.
My mom, Diana Diaz, was a fighter. She was the strongest woman I’ve ever met.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, tia, cousin, and beloved wife.
She loved her family so unconditionally.
Although we got rejected from two hospitals in Los Angeles that could’ve saved my mom’s life with a liver transplant, she always remained hopeful. She was always so positive, despite being in and out of hospitals. She was trying her hardest.
My dad and I stayed with her the whole time.
For two months, we were in and out of hospitals. From sleeping on hospital floors, hospital hallways, parking lots, we didn’t care.
We would do it again a million times if it meant just to see her beautiful face one more time.
She made an impact and touched so many lives. My mother would always be so humble for the little or small we had. She always gave help to anyone in need. Blood or not, she never cared. I might be her only daughter, but she played the mother figure role for so many other people.
She was such a loving woman.
My dad and I want to lay my mother to rest, with the support of everyone.
We are hoping to fundraise in many other ways. We are still arranging with friends and family. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as well. These donations are directly for funeral expenses and her mass.
I am so thankful for all my friends and family that have helped donate or even shared her link.
My dad and I are beyond grateful.
Funeral arrangements will soon be announced; dates will soon be known as well.
Thank you.
