Hello, my name is Michelle Martinez and I put this GoFundme together to help my sister and brother in law, Desiree and John Romero to help cover funeral expenses in the loss of their son.

In the early morning hours on Thursday, August 28, 2025, their oldest son Dezmond Romero was cowardly gunned down and left for dead on the side of a road.

This was a very unexpected death and we are raising money to help give Dezmond the burial he deserves.

Dezmond was a very talented artist and had started tattooing recently. He is the nicest person you would EVER meet. He would give you his last dollar or the coat off his back if he needed to. He was the most selfless person we know, it was all about everyone else.

Dezmond leaves behind his parents, 5 siblings and a lot of family and friends that loved him beyond measure.
