On Wednesday, March 18th, our lives were changed forever. Our beloved son, Dezjon, was taken from us in a tragic and senseless act of road rage. As a family, we are navigating a level of heartbreak that is impossible to put into words; our world has been left truly shattered.
Dezjon was a young man with his whole life ahead of him, a life full of dreams, laughter, and a kindness that stayed with you long after he left the room. He was more than just a victim of a tragedy; he was a vibrant soul, a loyal son, and a friend who lit up every room he entered. He had a way of touching the lives of everyone he met, and the void he leaves behind is immeasurable.
We are now faced with the unimaginable task of saying goodbye far too soon. As we mourn the loss of a son and a brother, we are also looking toward a future that Dezjon was so excited for. Most importantly, we want to ensure that Dezjon’s legacy lives on through his unborn child. His girlfriend is currently expecting, and we are committed to making sure his baby is supported and grows up knowing how much their father was loved.
As we struggle to process our grief, we are faced with the mounting financial pressure of medical bills and funeral expenses. We want to give Dezjon a service that reflects the beautiful life he lived. We are reaching out to our community for help to ease this financial burden during the darkest time of our lives.
