This is a hard post for me to make, but I am reaching out because I need help. My son, De'Troit, affectionately known as LitDeeDee, transitioned on November 24, 2025. At the time of his passing, De'Troit was incarcerated, and unfortunately, he did not have insurance. He was a rider on my insurance policy, but when he turned 21, he was dropped, and I was unable to find anyone to reinsure him due to his circumstances. Now, I find myself in the position of having to ask for help to give my son the farewell he deserves.

De'Troit was a gentle soul with a laid-back personality. He loved his family deeply and had a unique ability to connect with both the younger and older generations. He was passionate about music, cooking, and art, and he was a talented music producer. His creativity and warmth touched everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled.

If you know me, you know how hard it is for me to ask for help, but I must swallow my pride for my son. I am not begging—just reaching out to those who may be able to support us in this time of need. If you would like to sow, it would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too big or too small, and every bit of support will help us honor De'Troit's memory.
