Honoring DeShawn Guillory Smith

With watery eyes, disbelief, and heartache, we share with you the passing of our beloved brother DeShawn Guillory Smith.

Many of you, if not all of you reading this, have known DeShawn for at least 20 years or better, so you know firsthand the emptiness his passing has left us with.

As we prepare to process navigating through life without DeShawn's big bubble eyes, goofy laugh, and fast words of “I’m on my way”, we’re also faced with the reality that laying him to rest comes with a cost that we are unprepared to pay.

We want to give Dee the memorial he deserves—to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes surrounded by the people who loved him.

So we humbly ask for your prayers and any contribution.
