In Loving Memory of Desere

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

I'm creating this fundraiser to help my parents pay specifically for her cremation expenses. My parents and I struggle financially already, so I'm doing whatever I can to help them raise the money they need for her. I donated whatever I could first to help kickstart the fundraiser.

My older sister, Desere, tragically passed away on my little sister's birthday, March 31st. Her own birthday had just been a few weeks earlier, on March 4th. She was only 30 years old. Her passing was completely unexpected for my family and I.

Desere was a shining star in the world. She was the definition of a "ride or die" — someone you could always count on to be there when you needed her most. She believed in seeing the best in everyone she knew and loved, even when she struggled to see that same light in herself.

Losing her has been an overwhelming emotional and financial burden for my family. None of us were prepared for something like this — no one ever expects to lose a child, a sibling, or someone they love so suddenly.
