Honoring Derrick's Legacy with Love and Care

Heaven truly gained an amazing man! He made a huge impact on almost everyone he came in contact with. Derrick's wild personality and huge heart were impossible not to love. His quick comebacks and hilarious jokes could bring any room to life. He would give the shirt off his back to a man he didn't know. Like everyone, he had his ups and downs. But it doesn't take me saying this to know how amazing he was. His presence alone was the greatest gift. His love for animals was truly touching. He left us very unexpectedly. Though I don't think we can actually plan to say goodbye to someone we love. There has been a tremendous loss in his family in recent years; they have had to say goodbye to far too many great people.

In honor, I am trying to raise some money to help with the cost of laying Derrick to rest. There are not many ways to help families bury someone they love, but the financial burden alone isn't easy itself. All donations will go to Derrick's brother Joe Berg and his wife Mandy Berg.
