My name is Brenda, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart in honor of my dear friend, Denise James — a woman whose love didn’t end when her life did.

Denise was the kind of person who gave without hesitation. She showed up for everyone, especially her baby sister, Laura. Before she passed, Denise made sure Laura would always have a place to feel safe… a home of her own. I’m asking for help not out of convenience, but out of urgency and love. We are trying to raise funds to help Laura secure stable housing, cover moving costs, and create a new foundation during a time that has already taken so much from her.
